The Opportunity
We are seeking an ambitious and enthusiastic Senior Manager – Technical FM to join our great team.
You will effectively manage the Macro onsite team and supply chain partners to ensure that exemplary property and facilities management services are provided to the client and client staff. You will manage resources, promote an ethos of teamwork instill a culture of continuous improvement.
Specific emphasis will be placed on your working knowledge of MEP Systems, Building Maintenance Systems, HS&E and Environmental Management Systems and contract and vendor management services pertaining to the overall operations. A working understanding of building generators and appropriate maintenance programs is essential.
You will offer support and guidance to ensure that workflow is delivered effectively and develop the team so that they achieve their full potential.
Additionally, you will develop a relationship built on trust with the Client and contribute to the development and success of Macro by supporting the management team through business development and operational activities.
Main Responsibilities
Service delivery – operational management of internal and external service delivery teams, ensuring quality of services provided is continually improved and exceeds customer expectations.
Supply Chain Management – ensure value for money is achieved through robust management of suppliers and measurement of performance service level agreements.
Financial management – reporting to client, financial responsibility of account to Macro, risk management, maintaining profitability.
Relationship management – customer and supplier relations
Strategic and Technical support – general advice to customers, peers and team
Ensure consistency of service standards across the current Client portfolio and other properties that may be added at a future date.
Maintain a safe, clean and comfortable working environment. Onsite interface between general contractors and subcontractors for Special Projects as they relate to building operations.
Ability to internalise and prioritise complete components bringing them together on time and within budget.
Tender contracts with vendors to ensure best pricing and services.
Manage and mentor a customer centric staff between multi facilities and support co-workers with technical issues.
Compliance with legislation, Macro processes and life safety procedures.
Assist with production of documents, processes and information for other work or new projects.
Keep abreast of best practice within the industry by maintaining contact with peers in other market sectors.
Information Sharing - Regular contact and sharing of information with US and Canada Facilities Managers and the UK team.
Be accountable and responsible for ad-hoc projects and initiatives as an when they arise.
Communication - 3600 cascading information to customers, peers and team whilst keeping management team fully informed
People management – line management of staff and maintaining excellent customer relationships. Mentoring, development, coaching and appraising.

Salary Range: $95,000 - $120,000 USD Annually
